Project EC4J – Meet Bangladesh

Project Objective:

The EC4J Project, led by the Ministry of Commerce and supported by the World Bank, aimed to enhance the export competitiveness of four priority sectors in Bangladesh. Adon Communications was engaged to plan and implement an integrated communication and branding strategy to support market development, improve sector visibility, and enable better stakeholder engagement across:

  • Leather and Leather Goods
  • Footwear
  • Plastics
  • Light Engineering

     

Adon’s Role & Strategy:

As the official communication partner, Adon developed a 360-degree communication approach that blended creative storytelling, multilingual accessibility, capacity building, and strategic outreach.

We focused on three core goals:

  1. Inform & Engage Stakeholders
  2. Build Strong Visual Identity for Each Sector
  3. Enable Lasting Impact Through Training & Helplines

Scope of Work & Deliverables:

Content Planning & Design

  • Developed sector-specific narratives aligned with EC4J’s objectives
  • Created digital and print-ready content with localization

     

Brochure Design (English + 4 Languages)

  • Designed comprehensive brochures introducing each sector
  • Translated and adapted content into Bengali, French, Spanish, and Chinese to reach global audiences

     

Leaflet Design:  Compact communication tools highlighting key sector strengths, export opportunities, and support systems

Media Buying:  Strategically placed EC4J content on national and international media platforms to ensure maximum outreach

Event & Workshop Collateral:  Designed and produced high-quality X-stands, banners, and branding materials for seminars, stakeholder workshops, and trade shows

Capacity Building & Training:  Conducted workshops and training sessions to equip stakeholders with branding, export readiness, and digital marketing skills

Sector Helpline Support:  Created and activated a helpline service to support exporters and manufacturers with guidance and resources

Impact:

  • Over 10,000 stakeholders reached through media and event exposure
  • 4 languages ensured global accessibility for brochures and leaflets
  • Workshops trained over 200+ sector professionals
  • Improved sector representation in trade shows and export platforms
