Project Background:

As part of the Government of Bangladesh’s vision to modernize the electoral process, the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) Project was launched to ensure transparent, efficient, and tech-enabled voting experiences. With increasing adoption of digital governance, this initiative aimed to build public trust and awareness around the use of EVMs in elections.

Project Objective:

The core goal was to educate voters, dispel misinformation, and promote confidence in EVM-based voting through a comprehensive awareness campaign spanning traditional and digital platforms. The campaign targeted a wide demographic — especially first-time and rural voters — using engaging, relatable, and informative content.

Adon’s Role: Communication for Change:

Adon Communications Ltd. was selected as the digital and creative communication partner responsible for crafting and executing an integrated outreach strategy. Our objective was to make EVM technology understandable, trustworthy, and accessible to the average citizen.

  • Collaboration with trusted public figures, educators, and youth icons
  • Live sessions, reels, and explainers featuring influencers simplifying EVM operations
  • Influencers encouraging civic responsibility and voter participation

Impact & Outcome

  • Reached millions of viewers and voters across digital and television platforms
  • Helped reduce hesitation and confusion about EVM usage, especially among rural populations
  • Strengthened the Election Commission’s digital presence and communication credibility
